COLERAINE midfielder Josh Carson admits the Bannsiders will have to move on after the disappointment of conceding a late equaliser against Cliftonville…
The Stripes looked like sealing a seventh successive victory in the Danske Bank Premiership until Paul O’Neill bundled home a late equaliser for the visitors.
Whilst admitting it was “a tough one to take”, Carson remarked that the Bannsiders managed to score late against Crusaders last weekend so it all evens itself out.
The former Northern Ireland international has been in and out of the team in recent weeks due to the busy schedule but the 28-year-old understands why this is the case and acknowledged that he will be ready when called upon.
The Bannsiders welcome Portadown to The Showgrounds this weekend and the ex-Ipswich Town man hopes to make the starting eleven against Matthew Tipton’s side.
