KEVIN Deery spoke to Coleraine TV after the Bannsiders’ victory against Dungannon Swifts at The Showgrounds…

The assistant coach was in the dugout for proceedings as first-team boss Ruaidhri Higgins was absent due to a minor medical procedure.

Deery watched on as the Stripes picked up a 2-0 victory – which he labelled as “a professional job”.

As well as hailing a third successive clean sheet, Deery commented on the two goals his side scored as Declan McManus and Jamie Glackin found the back of the net.

The only small disappointment for Deery was that the Bannsiders failed to add to their lead after the interval as they held out for a 2-0 win.
