“A solid performance” – OK

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney praised his side’s game management as a solitary goal from James McLaughlin edged out Crusaders at Seaview…

After the game was goalless, Kearney’s two substitutes would combine as McLaughlin got on the end of Curtis Allen’s cross for his ninth goal of the campaign.

Kearney highlighted that a lot of noise was made about Crusaders making changes ahead of their Irish Cup semi-final against Larne, but that he had make sure his troops didn’t read too much into that.

The Bannsiders received a blow with an injury sustained to Stephen O’Donnell which meant Adam Mullan was given his first minutes of the season, and Kearney admits it was great to see the Limavady man back in action.

Coleraine are next in action against Linfield on May 25 and Kearney is hopeful to see fans make a return to The Showgrounds.
