Academy National League Update

THE four Coleraine Academy National League teams were all back in action last weekend with the Under 14 and Under 15’s facing top of the table clashes…

The Under 14 team fell victim to a couple of withdrawals due to sickness, but put up a brave account against a very strong Greenisland team.

The Under 15 team won away to Trojans and sit top of their table unbeaten.

The Under 13 team played a local derby against Limavady and won despite missing a penalty. The Under 13’s have a number of games in hand and remain on course to make the A division after the Christmas cut-off.

The Under 12 bounced back from their cup defeat last week to beat Ballinamallard – special mention to Pierce who bagged a first-half hat trick in their victory.

A number of Academy kids are also playing within the Coleraine FC NIFL Under 16 team. This team made an impressive return to action with a comprehensive win against Ards. This team is also competing at the top of their respective league.
