FRIENDS of Coleraine would like to release the following statement following Tuesday night’s AGM…

On Tuesday evening, 2/11/2021, the AGM of Friends of Coleraine took place in the Coleraine Social Club.

The FCFC Committee would like to express their thanks to everyone who attended on the evening to offer support to FCFC and ideas as FCFC aim to get bigger and better. We would also like to express our thanks and gratitude to the magnificent job the current board are doing in charge of Coleraine FC.

Recently the club have installed a fantastic new 4G pitch, refurbished the changing rooms, added a new TV screen which brings colour and exiting features which will help with the sponsorship coming into the club. It’s also fantastic to see so many advertising boards up around the ground and a massive increase in crowds thanks to the incredible sales of 1,117 season tickets for the 2021/22 campaign.

FCFC would also like to thank the fantastic and professional work the social media team have done, it is first class and has moved the club onto a new level off the pitch. It’s been a difficult last few years with the pandemic and having to hold committee meetings via zoom calls.

With new additions and ideas to the FCFC committee we hope as we move into 2022 that Friends can push forward and provide further assistance and funds to Coleraine FC. Since FCFC began, we have donated over £300,000 to the club, thanks to our members, without you this wouldn’t be possible. This summer we were able to present a cheque for approximately £40,000 to Coleraine FC towards the cost of refurbishing the home changing rooms.

FCFC would like to communicate more with members re. the present and future of FCFC, ideas and funding for Coleraine FC. To enable us to do this, we would like to ask all current FCFC members to email us your current email address as we aim to update are database, so via social media and email we can keep everyone up to date on a regular basis as we move forward. If you are a current paying FCFC member can send in your name and current email address to friendsofcolerainefc@gmail.com
