The ahead of the game workshop aims to support clubs, volunteers and players dealing with mental health issues, to raise awareness of support available, and to challenge the stigma around mental health.

Ahead of the game focuses on the idea and importance of starting the conversation around mental health in football.

Throughout the workshop, students engaged in group discussions related to understanding their thoughts, feelings and behaviours and applied coping strategies learnt to football based scenarios.

We would like to think Kenny, Kyle and Lee for giving up their time to speak with the students and we look forward to working with the Irish FA again in the future.
