JAMES Akintunde spoke exclusively to Coleraine TV after joining the Bannsiders ahead of the January transfer window…

The attacker has agreed terms on a pre-contract agreement and will officially become a Coleraine upon the opening of the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old said the fact he has worked under Ruaidhri Higgins before at Derry City made the move a “comfortable” one, as well as opening up on his career to date which also had a spell at Bohemians.

Akintunde revealed that he knows plenty about the Irish League and how he is adaptable at playing across a multitude of positions across the front line.

The former Cambridge United ace also discussed his recent time at Finland, where he featured for Haka in the top-flight.
