COLERAINE FC would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who attended our Player of the Season Awards yesterday afternoon…

As our first time hosting an event of this kind, we were delighted with how the day unfolded and especially proud to see so many of our supporters come together to celebrate the season so far.

We would also like to express our gratitude to all those who played a part in making the event such a success – including our event sponsor Roasted Coffee – as well as a big thank you to our award sponsors for their continued support.

Special thanks go to the bar staff and caterers Newbridge Restaurant for their excellent service, ensuring everyone was well looked after throughout the event.

We also appreciate the professionalism and warmth of our host, Lori Watton, who guided the afternoon so well, and to Causeway Engraving for preparing the awards to such a high standard.

The winners of the awards were as follows:

  • Player of the Season – sponsored by Roasted Coffee – Joel Cooper
  • Young Player of the Season – sponsored by CFC Academy – Senan Devine
  • Top Goalscorer – sponsored by Garvagh & Kilrea Coleraine Supporters’ Club – To be confirmed

Commenting on the day, Chief Executive Officer, Dale Pryde-MacDonald, said: “Firstly, I would like to thank everybody involved in organising and delivering a fantastic afternoon at The Showgrounds. A massive amount of credit should go to Jamie Selfridge, Willie Huey as well as the bar and catering staff for all of their hard work in making the event a great success.

“I would also like to thank our award sponsors and event sponsor, Roasted, in addition to our terrific host Lori Watton, Gareth and his catering team and Event AV who helped support all of the technical aspects on the day.

“Finally, to our phenomenal supporters who made it such a special day. To feel the buzz and energy in the room was outstanding and each and every person made it an afternoon to remember. Hopefully this will be one of many successful events to come here at the stadium.”
