COLERAINE Women were edged out by Armagh City Ladies last night at Holm Park…
The two teams cancelled each other out in the opening 45 minutes but it wasn’t for the want of trying as both teams had opportunities to break the deadlock.
However, Armagh forged ahead just 10 minutes after the restart to take the lead.
This didn’t deter the Bannsiders as they went in search of an equaliser but it just wouldn’t happen on the night as they had nothing to show for their efforts.
Despite the narrow loss, there was no shortage of endeavour and plenty of positives to take moving forward.
The first-team are next in action at home to Belfast Swifts on Wednesday, May 20 at The Showgrounds (KO 7.30pm).
