COLERAINE FC is proud to support better mental health in our community by backing the “Man On” initiative – a weekly programme designed to bring men together through football, friendship and open conversation…
Taking place every Wednesday evening, the initiative is hosted at the heart of the club, The Showgrounds, and welcomes men of all backgrounds to join in a relaxed and supportive environment.
“Man On” is already up and running and has proven to be very popular and beneficial for those who take part.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
8–9pm: Casual Football Session
Meet us at the Victor Hunter Community Pitch for an hour of 5-a-side-style football. No need to be match-fit – just bring your boots, a smile, and a willingness to take part.
9–10pm: Refreshments & a Chat
After the game, we’ll head into the Academy Suite for a cup of tea or coffee and a relaxed chat. This is a space to connect, share, and support one another – because opening up can be just as important as turning up.
JOIN US
Whether you’re struggling, feeling isolated, or just looking for some positive connection, “Man On” is here for you. It’s free to attend, and there’s no pressure to talk – simply being there is enough.
Everyone is welcome – whether you’re a lifelong Bannsider, new to the town, or just in need of a change of pace midweek.
