Benny recruits some Buddies

BENNY the Bannsider is recruiting his first “Buddies” and where better to look than the young people who have already been mascots for the Bannsiders this season…

All the mascots and their families have been invited along to “Benny’s Big Day Out” tomorrow (March 26) at The Showgrounds and they will form the guard of honour as the Coleraine FC super mascot makes his first home appearance.

Coleraine FC Commercial Manager, Clement Dealey is happy to see some familiar faces getting involved saying, “Our mascot programme for home games has been a great success, it is fantastic to see families and young people having a great day.

“Once Benny mentioned his plans for a “Big Day Out” I thought these are the people who should be invited to take centre stage.

“It will be a real treat to see them being a part of the day and supporting Benny the Bannsider and, of course, Coleraine FC.”

“Benny’s Big Day Out” will feature, live music, soccer skills and games for the kids, a play area with catering available. Families are invited to come along to enjoy the day and watch the Bannsiders as they host Glenavon.
