Benny’s Big Day Out

BENNY the Bannsider, the Coleraine FC mascot would like to invite everyone along to his “Big Day Out” at The Showgrounds on Saturday March 26th starting at 1pm…

The day is the perfect way to enjoy some family fun and support the Bannsiders.

Benny has arranged to have a Soccer Skills camp on the training pitch at the ground open to all his young friends. They can test their skills with the Coleraine FC Academy coaches and even take a penalty against ace goalkeeper Benny himself.

If football is not your thing or you just want a go on everything, there will be an inflatable play area specially for the kids.

Mum and Dad will be able to enjoy live music on the outdoor stage and the excellent catering will be open from 1pm to ensure no-one goes hungry or thirsty.

Families can then go into Benny’s specially created family area to support the Bannsiders as they take on Glenavon from 3pm.

Coleraine FC Chairman, Colin McKendry, welcomes families to the “Big Day Out” saying, “It is our dream to share this club with the whole community and what better way to do that than to invite our friends to come along to the stadium, enjoy the build-up to the game and support the team. A game day at Coleraine FC is certainly ‘More than a Match’.

“I must thank Benny the Bannsider for pulling this all together. I would also like to thank the National Lottery Football Weekend and for helping us to invite all the families and Benny’s Buddies to enjoy a Big Day Out at The Showgrounds.”
