CONGRATULATIONS to Dylan Boyle who has been voted as the colerainefc.com Player of the Year for 2024/25…
The midfielder topped the end-of-season poll to be crowned as the winner, with Matthew Shevlin in second and Charles Dunne in third.
Boyle, who joined the Bannsiders from Ballymena United last summer, was an ever-present figure in the middle of the park last season, making 43 appearances in all competitions and finding the back on three occasions.
Speaking after being voted as the winner, Boyle said: “Personal accolades are not usually something I pick up but for me to win an award like this in my first season is really pleasing – so I’d like to thank everyone who voted.
“I’m disappointed with how the season ended with the play-off final but it’s always nice to pick up personal accolades.
“I’m really pleased to have played the amount of games that I did and hopefully long may that continue.
“As a player, you want to play every minute and I’m delighted to be given that opportunity but it’s now a about getting a good pre-season under my belt and kicking on again.
“A massive thank you to the supporters for their warm welcome and who turned out in their large numbers for all our games last season.”
Dylan was presented with his award from sponsors Tim Hortons Breakfast Club.
colerainefc.com would like to thank Causeway Engraving & Trophies for their assistance.
