Brennan departs

COLERAINE FC can confirm that Caiolan Brennan will leave the club on the expiry of his contract…

The winger made his debut for the club in a North-West Cup tie in 2017 and featured in several Danske Bank Premiership games for the Bannsiders.

The Coleraine native has enjoyed two spells on loan at Limavady United, as well as time at Ballyclare Comrades.

Boss Oran Kearney cited Brennan’s need for competitive minutes as the reason for the departure.

“Caiolan has a super attitude and was great to work with but we feel he needs to go out permanently and stamp his authority elsewhere,” he said.

“We are expecting him to move to Limavady permanently and with that, we will monitor his progress closely.

“I’ve no doubt that he will kick on elsewhere and we wish him the very best of luck.

“Hopefully he can keep progressing and we will keep an eye on him.”

Everyone at Coleraine FC wishes Caiolan the very best for the future.
