BTEC Sports students deliver Shared Education project

STUDENTS on the Bannsiders’ full-time education programme have been busy this week as they helped with the delivery of a shared event…

On Tuesday morning (November 8), students from our Full Time Education and Coaching Programme attended the University of Ulster, Coleraine to help with the delivery of a Shared Education event in partnership with Causeway Coast & Glens Sports Development Department.

45 pupils from St Colum’s PS and Portstewart PS were introduced to both Olympic and GAA Handball.

Our BTEC students designed and delivered fun warm up games based around a selection of Fundamental Movement Skills relating to both Sports and assisted lead coaches during the main session.
