COLERAINE FC is very pleased to announce that Cameron Stewart has pledged his future to the club by signing a new contract…
The defender has agreed terms on a three-year deal that will see him remain on the Ballycastle Road until the end of the 2028/29 campaign.
The 23-year-old joined the club in the summer of 2024 and has amassed 57 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice in the process.
Stewart, who can count Ipswich Town, Crusaders (loan) and Cove Rangers (loan) as his previous clubs, started in the Irish Cup victory against Dungannon Swifts to pick up his first piece of silverware as a Coleraine player.
Speaking about Stewart’s new deal, Bannsiders boss Ruaidhri Higgins said: “We want to build the team around people like Cameron.
“Cameron has now established himself as a key member of our first-team and we are delighted that his future is here.
“He’s got serious potential, he’s got a really high ceiling and he’s only getting going.
“He can head it, he can pass it, he can run, he has a really bright future and I’m pleased he’s committed his future to the club.”
