Chairman thanks fans as season ticket prices are set

CHAIRMAN Colin McKendry has thanked Coleraine fans for their fantastic and loyal support throughout the past season…

The club posted a record number of season ticket sales as 1997 fans committed to the club last year. This supported a record average attendance at games of 2801.

“The Bannsiders fans are true supporters,” said Colin.

“They follow the club through thick and thin and are a huge motivation for players and staff alike. We honestly cannot stress how important the fans are to the success of the club.

“We all start the season trying to lift the Gibson Cup and we must congratulate Larne on their success. However, their performance simply challenges everyone else in the Irish Premiership to up their game and chase them down.

“It’s tough but it is exactly why we are all involved in elite sport.”

Season tickets will go on sale for the 2023/24 season on May 31.

After a three-year price freeze, and a decision by NIFL to raise the match day admission price, the club has had to raise prices.

However, buying a season ticket is still, by far, the best value for money and it’s also the best way to support the club. Adult season ticket holders will still get into each game for less than £10, concessions will be just over £6 per game and juniors a remarkable £1 per game.

Colin McKendry concluded: “We absolutely understand and appreciate the tough times being experienced by some of our fans, but the club has also had to deal with the massive increases in costs, particularly for energy to literally keep the lights on.

“Gate receipts are the largest contributor to the club’s income each season and therefore we have had to increase prices. Behind the scenes, we are working incredibly hard to grow our income streams to invest in our facilities, the community and also in the first team as a priority.

“The Irish Premiership is a very competitive league and we retain our ambitions to win trophies every year.

“With the continued support of our fantastic fans, we can achieve our goals together. We are all Bannsiders at heart.”

2023/24 Season Tickets are on sale online HERE from 9am on Wednesday, May 31.

Supporters will also be able to buy their season ticket from the Club Shop.

We understand some fans like to have a season ticket card, however, that incurs an additional cost to the club, therefore fans who wish to have a card can do so for an additional charge of £5 if ordered before July 1. However, if preferred, the digital version of the season ticket is available at no extra charge.

Alternatively, fans can access their digital season ticket on Future Ticketing’s new app free of charge.
