Cheque donated to Sandelford School

THE London Northern Ireland Supporters’ Club (London NISC) has presented a cheque for £500 to the Parents and Friends of Sandelford School in Coleraine to help fund equipment and initiatives for the school’s pupils…

Commenting on the donation, Neal Anderson, Chairman of the London NISC and an avid Coleraine fan, said: “The club always do something different for our annual members pack. This year we had mini-figures of Northern Ireland manager and former Coleraine player Michael O’Neill made, which we nicknamed the ‘Wee MON’.

“Because of a large minimum order quantity, we had 2,000 spares that we decided to sell with the goal of raising £10,000 for good causes. Our members then nominated 20 local community charities right across Northern Ireland.

“I was very pleased to nominate Sandelford PFA as one of the recipient charities as, although I now live in Bromley in Kent, I grew up in both Coleraine and Portstewart, so I know of the great work the Sandelford School staff and PFA do to benefit local children.”
