Cheque-ing In!

MILLBURN PS were pleased to present a cheque to the Zachary Geddis Trust following their Movember Challenge…

The male staff at the school set down their razors for the month to raise funds for charity and have some entertainment in the process.

School teachers and staff also held a bucket collection during the Bannsiders’ recent fixture against Larne.

Ruairi McClean, teacher at Millburn PS, said: “We were absolutely delighted to be able to present Yasmin Geddis from The Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust with a cheque to the value of £3,300 following a hugely successful Millburn Movember Challenge.

“This amazing total was reached as a result of our staff bucket collection at the Coleraine FC v Larne fixture, via our Just Giving link and also the Movember Moustache Competition Day held in school.

“A huge thank you to all who participated and all who contributed to this wonderful cause. Now this is an example of true community collaboration!”
