Clement appointed as Commercial Manager

The new role will see the lifelong Coleraine supporter look after sponsorship, which includes kit sponsors, board sponsorships, match sponsors and other potential opportunities.

Clement will fulfil the position alongside Bryan McNeill, Mark Kane and Alli Kyle as the Bannsiders continue their preparations for the 2021/22 campaign.

Clement will be no stranger across the local area as he remains one of the most popular wedding photographers.

Speaking to colerainefc.com, Chairman Colin McKendry believes Clement is the perfect fit for the role.

“We are pleased to confirm that Clement is the new Commercial Manager at Coleraine FC,” he said.

“Clement has many years’ experience in the field and we know the attributes and quality he can bring to the role.

“His enthusiasm and love for the club is second to none and I know how much this voluntary role will mean to him.

“We have seen firsthand the hard work Clement, Bryan, Mark and Alli is doing in terms of sponsorship and with the new pitch development in place, there is plenty to look forward to.”

Clement admits he was ‘surprised’ to be offered the position and is excited at getting started.

“I was surprised but honoured when Colin McKendry phoned and said I had been endorsed by the Board of Directors to become Commercial Manager,” he added.

“I grew up overlooking The Showgrounds and I have been to Coleraine matches for as long as I remember.

“I have enjoyed being a part of the sponsorship committee so far and I’m extremely grateful to everyone behind the scenes for their support.

“Like every volunteer, I do it because I love the club and I will give it everything I have, whilst continuing my photography business.”
