Following Saturday’s match with Cliftonville at The Showgrounds, Coleraine FC have been served with a Notice of Complaint by the Irish FA following an item being thrown on to the pitch towards a Cliftonville player.
Coleraine FC will never accept items or objects being thrown towards any players, staff or supporters that enter our stadium and find this act wholly unacceptable by the person involved and not representative of our club or our supporters.
We hope that the individual can be identified so the appropriate action can be taken.
