Coleraine Chronicle 90th Anniversary Supplement

COLERAINE Chronicle has this week produced a 20-page supplement on the history of Coleraine FC and is now available in shops…

Inside this week’s 20-page souvenir supplement marking the 90th anniversary of the formation of Coleraine Football Club we reveal how football was first played in Coleraine by visiting Scottish sailors at Anderson Park, how local junior clubs Coleraine Alexandra and Coleraine Olympic set aside their differences to form the club we know today and reflect on the successes which established Coleraine FC as one of the leading provincial clubs in the Irish League.

We examine leading figures from the club’s past including managers Bertie Peacock and Marty Quinn, get the thoughts of media pundits Grant Cameron and Liam Beckett and hear from supporters about their best and worst moments following the club.

Finally, we look forward to the next ten years with Coleraine riding high at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership amid hopes that Oran Kearney’s young team can end a long trophy famine.

All this plus plenty of photos from the archives celebrating 90 years of The Bannsiders.
