COLERAINE FC was proud to welcome representatives from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Irish Football Association (IFA) to The Showgrounds to view the completed community pitch they funded…
The club also had the pleasure of hosting delegates from the Scottish, English and Welsh Football Associations, who visited to inspect the high-quality finish of the newly installed surface.
Coleraine FC extends our upmost thanks to the IFA for funding and assisting with the delivery of the project. We also wish to take the opportunity to thank Bobby Farren and David Boyd for delivering the project on behalf of Coleraine Football Club.
The new surface has already assisted in a number of community initiatives such as our Man On Project and has also hosted games in the 2025 Foyle Cup. We look forward to now pushing further and wider with community initiatives that the facility can be used for.
This milestone reflects Coleraine FC’s ongoing commitment to providing top-tier facilities for the local community and wider footballing family.
