MICHAEL O’Connor voiced his pleasure after the Bannsiders picked up all three points against Portadown at The Showgrounds…

O’Connor was in the dugout as head coach Dean Shiels was suspended and watched on as Ronan Doherty and Jamie Glackin netted in a 2-0 success.

He reflected on a commanding performance and how they were rarely troubled, as well as commenting on the two goals.

O’Connor also acknowledged the importance of keeping another clean sheet and how it was vital to follow-up last week’s win at Linfield with another three points.
