Defensive moments hurt us – OK

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney conceded that the manner of the goals his side conceded against Crusaders “were not good enough”…

The Bannsiders failed to make it four successive wins in all competitions as two goals in the opening 15 minutes by the visitors did the damage at The Showgrounds.

Kearney insists his side “shoot themselves in the foot” during those first 15 minutes but praised their efforts in the second-half as they tried to force home an equaliser which just didn’t arrive.

The boss highlighted that that his troops had been good defensively throughout the last three games but they were punished for “moments” of concentration.

Coleraine face Glentoran next in the Premiership and Kearney knows his side can ill-afford to give Mick McDermott’s men a two-goal head start.
