RUAIDHRI Higgins praised his side’s “desire and application” after making it back-to-back victories in the BOYLE Sports Premiership…

The Bannsiders left the County Armagh venue with all three points as Matthew Shevlin, Senan Devine and Will Patching all scored in a 3-0 victory.

Higgins remarked how his side started the game brilliantly which culminated in Shevlin’s early opener and noted how the attitude of the players “was on the money”.

Devine’s second was a header from a corner and Higgins admitted that whilst it wasn’t planned, it was great to see the midfielder net his first goal of the campaign.

Higgins handed game time to teenagers Odhran McHugh and Luke McCourt from the bench, with the manager stating how he is lucky to have both great senior players and talented youngsters at his disposal.

He also discussed the upcoming week which starts with a North-West Senior Cup tie against Dergview, as well as if any business will be done before the transfer window closes.
