RUAIDHRI Higgins has hailed Senan Devine’s impact at H&W Welders after recalling the 18-year-old from his successful loan spell at the Blanchflower Stadium…
The Coleraine native bagged 12 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the Welders in the first half of the campaign.
However, Devine has since been recalled by the Bannsiders and Higgins outlined how the loan spell was beneficial for all parties.
“Senan’s a perfect example of why loans can be really important for young players,” he said.
“Senan’s gone from strength to strength with the help of the people at the Welders, and particularly Paul Kee.
“We thank them for really helping his development over the last few months and Senan will be an important part of our squad going forward.
“We all feel here that Senan has a big, big future in the game.”
