A double from Abby Alexander sealed the points at Allen Park in Antrim.

Coleraine enjoyed a 5-2 win over the same opponents earlier in the season but this was a closer affair.

Alexander struck after 17 minutes to break the deadlock and in style!

After breaking from the halfway line, she cut inside her marker and gave the ‘keeper no chance with a long range drive.

Armagh enjoyed more of the possession in the second half but rarely put the Bannsiders defence under real threat.

Alexander’s second, after fine work by Caitlin Talbot, with a quarter of an hour remaining, appeared to have secured victory.

But a goal a few minutes from time set up a nervous finish.

“We keep having these lapses on concentration,” admitted player manager Alison Nicholl.

“It meant we had an anxious end to the game but we held out for a deserved win.”
