Result:

Bohemians 0-0 Coleraine

Report:

Coleraine put up another battling Setanta Cup display as they held League of Ireland title contenders Bohemians to a 0-0 draw at Dalymount Park.

Glen Crowe headed wide in the third minute and then striker Rory Patterson fired a long-range effort over the bar.

Davy O’Hare then saved well from Neale Fenn’s headed effort and Marc Mukendi did well to deflect a Fenn shot.

Gary Deegan, Fenn and Killian Brennan had second-half chances and a Deegan shot was well saved by Davy O’Hare.

Defender Howard Beverland eventually completed the clearance.

The result leaves Coleraine with two points from two games in the competition after the Bannsiders’ earlier 0-0 draw against Glentoran.

Bohemians now lead the group with four points from two games after their opening victory over Glentoran.
