“Dream come true” for PK
COLERAINE TV spoke to Patrick Kelly for the last time after the midfielder signed for Premier League side West Ham United…
Kelly insists the move to West Ham is “a dream come true” and credited Oran Kearney and Colin McKendry for their support during negotiations.
The Portstewart native remarked on his first start against Larne, the League Cup final against Cliftonville and his Man of the Match performance in the last home game against Glentoran.
The Northern Ireland youth international acknowledged that he was “blew away” by the facilities on offer at his new employers and added that he is a bit emotional at leaving Coleraine after more than a decade at the club.
The 17-year-old was thankful for Kearney’s trust in him and all the coaches, players and staff he has worked under.
