CHARLES Dunne says Coleraine have prepared well for the visit of Linfield as they finish their Sports Direct Premiership campaign this afternoon…

The Bannsiders welcome the newly-crowned Gibson Cup champions to the Ballycastle Road for the final Premiership fixture of the campaign.

Speaking in his pre-match interview, Dunne said “a debrief” was carried out after last weekend’s loss to Crusaders ahead of today’s visit of the Blues.

He said: “The preparation has been good and we’ve had a good week’s training.

“We obviously had a debrief from the Crusaders game last Saturday and we’ve now put it to bed – so we are just looking forward to the next one.

“We are aiming to get a positive result heading into the play-offs, where we will try and do the best we can.”

The former Motherwell and St Mirren ace opened up on his own personal form of late as he wants to “move forward” after “a mistake or two” in recent games.

“I’m finding it alright,” he added.

“I have had a few little bumps after having all my praise and good stuff.

“Obviously, I’ve made a mistake or two in the games but it’s part and parcel of football…you take the good with the bad and it’s about keeping moving forward and doing the right things.

“It’s the last home game of the league, so hopefully, as many fans can turn out in their colours as it’ll be good for the club and the boys.”
