COLERAINE have been drawn to face FK Haugesund in the first qualifying round of the Europa League…

At present, the Bannsiders are scheduled to face the Norwegian side away from home on the 29th June, before having home advantage a week later (6th July). Supporters are advised to not book travel until the order of the ties have been fully confirmed.

FK Haugesund qualified for the competition via a fourth placed finish in the Norwegian Tippleligaen. They currently sit 9th in the league having played 13 games and appeared in the 2014-15 Europa League – beating Airbus UK in the opening round, before losing to FK Sarajevo.

If the Bannsiders triumph over two legs, they will then face Lech Poznan or FK Pelister in the second qualifying round as Coleraine enter European competition for the first time since 2004.
