Pre-Season Friendly

Overview:

The two fixtures will mark the final preparations for Oran Kearney’s men prior to the start of the Danske Bank Premiership campaign against Cliftonville next weekend. The Bannsiders’ squad was split in two last week and suffered back-to-back defeats against Portstewart and Portadown. The fixture against Glebe Rangers is part of the Ballymoney club’s 30 year anniversary celebrations. Supporters are advised that the fixture against Coagh United will now kick-off at 3:30pm and not 3pm as previously stated.

Recent meetings:

Coleraine and Glebe Rangers last clashed in 2016 and the Bannsiders ran out convincing winners at the Riada Stadium. A double from James McLaughlin, added to strikes from Gary Twigg, Jamie Coulter and Mark Edgar sealed a 5-0 victory in Ballymoney.

Team News:

Bannsiders boss Oran Kearney will split his squad in two and baulk up the numbers with some of the young promising players at The Showgrounds. There will be a fitness check on Cormac Burke, Josh Carson and Ian Parkhill as the trio missed last weekend’s fixtures.
