“Flip at half-time brought more success” – OK

ORAN Kearney admits a re-jig of his side’s formation meant their second-half performance was rewarded with a win against Carrick Rangers yesterday afternoon…

The Bannsiders had to leave it late to secure the three points at the Loughview Leisure Arena as Josh Carson’s effort with eight minutes to go sealed Kearney’s 250th win as Coleraine boss.

Kearney commented on the week as a whole as the Stripes also registered wins against Portadown and Dungannon Swifts but acknowledged his side struggled in the first-half against Stuart King’s side, meaning he had to change things for the second 45 minutes.

The boss lauded Carson for “a cracking finish” ahead of Tuesday night’s clash against Crusaders at The Showgrounds.
