The defender has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal after signing from Cliftonville.

The 24-year-old acknowledged that he was delighted to get the deal done and that he can provide versatility during his time at The Showgrounds.

McDermott also spoke about getting straight into training and earning more minutes on the pitch.
