COLERAINE Women Reserves suffered a narrow defeat to Antrim Town Swifts last night…
In a match played in hot conditions, it was the visitors who took the lead.
However, the Bannsiders were unfortunate not to go into the break level as they created plenty of opportunities in the opening 45 minutes.
That pressure finally paid off when Charlotte McAllister equalised for Coleraine midway through the second half.
Despite looking like the Bannsiders would go into win the contest, they would suffer an unfortunate sucker punch late on as Antrim Town Swifts scored a late winner.
A very harsh end result for the Reserves who certainly deserved more to show for their efforts.
