Ladies

Full points the focus

COLERAINE Ladies face the long trek to Armagh on this evening…

But player boss Alison Nicholl goes into the game on confident mood.

Despite going down 3-2 last Thursday to Ballymacash, Alison took plenty of positives from the game.

“It was great to have Olivia Doherty and Emma Campbell available,” revealed Alison.

“Olivia has had gaelic commitments and Emma wasn’t available because of shift work.

“We have a couple of 14 year olds, Storm Ballentyne and Cerys Sharkey, both of whom were excellent.

“But it was great to have that bit more experience which Olivia and Emma bring.”

Coleraine trailed 3-1 at the break but the response pleased the manager.

“They took on board what was said at half time and showed great resilience.

“It was a terrific match, end to end, and I felt we deserved a draw. ”

Now attention turns to the midweek clash with Armagh.

“We defeated them 4-2 earlier in the season so hopefully we can take full points again.”
