Fyfe joins Portadown on loan

COLERAINE FC can confirm that Eamon Fyfe has joined Portadown on loan until the end of the season…

The 25-year-old will spend the campaign at Shamrock Park and once again link-up with Niall Currie after working under his new boss at Dundela.

Fyfe arrived at The Showgrounds in the January transfer window and made 18 appearances, scoring twice.

Speaking about the move, boss Oran Kearney believes the loan arrangement will allow the Glenravel native to avail of more game time.

“Since arriving in January, game time has probably been tough for Eamon and he wants to get back out playing,” he said.

“As such, going out on loan to Portadown suits all parties.

“We will monitor Eamon’s progress throughout the season and see where it takes us.”
