CONGRATULATIONS to Ruaidhrí Higgins who has been named as the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association Manager of the Month for August…
Coleraine defeated Dungannon Swifts, Carrick Rangers and Portadown in the month, as well as recording a scoreless draw with champions Larne.
A delighted Higgins said: “I would like to thank the Football Writers’ Association for this award, but it would not be possible without my backroom team and playing staff.
“I put myself under massive pressure on a daily basis, because I want to be successful. That’s why we’re here. We want to be part of a successful and ambitious club.
“We have made a strong start to the season but it is a very competitive league and there is a very long way to go.”
