Glackin: ‘I feel at home’

COLERAINE TV caught up with Jamie Glackin after the midfielder committed his future to the club…

The 25-year-old put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract extension that will see him remain at The Showgrounds until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Glackin – who has impressed throughout the campaign thus far – insists he feels at home on the Ballycastle Road and that playing under Oran Kearney was a massive factor in his decision.

The ex-Dungannon Swifts and Crusaders ace missed the European fixtures against La Fiorita and NK Maribor but insists he used that as ‘motivation’ for the season ahead.

The Omagh native also discussed mental health issues in football and believes more could be done to help those affected.
