FIRST-TEAM stars Lyndon Kane and Declan McManus were on hand to present sports day medals at Killowen Primary School on Friday…
The pair were joined by the Deputy Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Tanya Stirling, to give out the prizes.
The school held their sports day earlier this month and smiles were aplenty when Lyndon and Declan were handing out the medals.
Speaking after their visit, McManus said: “Lyndon and I had a great time at Killowen Primary School and we would like to thank everyone at the school for the invite.
“A massive congratulations to all the pupils who took part. We were told there was great sportsmanship and competitiveness throughout.
“We wish all the staff, pupils and everyone connected with Killowen Primary School a wonderful summer break.”
Mrs Moon, Principal at Killowen PS, added: “Killowen Primary School were delighted to welcome the Deputy Mayor, Tanya Stirling, and C.F.C players Lyndon Kane and Daclan McManus to their sports awards assembly this morning.
“They made the occasion so, so special for the children by handing them out the medals they had earned. Killowen Primary wishes Coleraine F.C. all the best for the upcoming season!”
