‘Great to be back’ – Mullan

COLERAINE defender Adam Mullan reflected on a difficult twelve months as he made his return from injury in the win against Crusaders…

The 25-year-old hadn’t kicked a ball in anger this campaign due to an injury suffered in pre-season but was drafted into the action to replace the injured Stephen O’Donnell.

The Limavady man insists the game was on a knife edge but a piece of quality from Curtis Allen would prove to be the difference as his cross was expertly headed home by James McLaughlin.

Unsurprisingly, Mullan acknowledged that his body will feel the full effects of his return but that he is ready to take his chance in the first-team if selected as the Bannsiders face Linfield and Larne before the campaign draws to a close.
