‘Grey hairs increasing by the week’ – OK

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney was relieved as his side bagged a late three points against Carrick Rangers yesterday afternoon…

Kearney heaped praise on the visitors for their performance on the Ballycastle Road and acknowledged that his players never get an easy game against the Amber Army.

The boss was also pleased to see his side remain patient in their efforts to make the breakthrough and paid his respects to referee Evan Boyce who admitted an error in not awarding a spot kick for a foul on Jamie Glackin.

The winner from Aaron Canning was his first of the season and Kearney was pleased to see goals coming from across the pitch.

The Bannsiders are on their travels to Glenavon on Tuesday night and Kearney remarked that he has never had an ‘easy game’ against the Lurgan Blues and is expecting something similar at Mourneview Park.
