Half-time break helped us, McCrudden

MICHAEL McCrudden insists there were no big dramas at half-time as the Bannsiders recovered from a goal down to beat Loughgall yesterday afternoon…

The Stripes trailed at the break through Jackson Holmes’ effort but recovered in the second-half to set-up a Sixth Round date against Cliftonville next month.

McCrudden remarked that the game could have been a banana skin but that the squad are delighted to reach the next round after conceding against the run of the play.

The striker insisted boss Oran Kearney was chilled at half-time and spoke about his goal which sealed the deal against Dean Smith’s side.

Coleraine face Newry City on Tuesday night and the ex-Institute ace discussed how he keeps his body ticking over during the busy schedule.
