RUAIDHRI Higgins spoke to Coleraine TV after guiding the Bannsiders to Irish Cup success…

The Stripes ensured they ended the season with silverware as goals from Matthew Shevlin (2) and Joel Cooper edged out Dungannon Swifts at Windsor Park.

Higgins started his post-match assessment by acknowledging how the club did themselves proud both off and on the pitch, and how he would love to see as many of the 7500 in attendance at The Showgrounds on a regular basis next season.

The Coleraine chief celebrated his one-year anniversary in fine style with the win and he was full of praise for those behind the scenes who have given the club such a great platform to be successful.

Higgins elaborated how the players will be given around two weeks off before they are given a programme ahead of a return to European football in the summer.
