RUAIDHRI Higgins spoke to Coleraine TV after watching his side win on his managerial bow at The Showgrounds…

The Bannsiders reached the final of the European play-off after a 1-0 win over Crusaders.

Higgins said he was “delighted” with the result and that you could look at the game in two halves as the Bannsiders had to dig deep in the second-half to progress.

The manager commented on the move which led to Declan McManus’ match-winning contribution and the importance of preserving a clean sheet.

Higgins was also thankful for the welcome he got from the home support ahead of Sunday’s final against Cliftonville.
