RUAIDHRI Higgins spoke to Coleraine TV after watching his side pick up an opening day win at Dungannon Swifts…

The Bannsiders left Stangmore Park with maximum points as Jay Henderson, Ben Doherty and Matthew Shevlin got on the scoresheet in the 3-1 victory.

Reflecting on the match, Higgins said it was “a fantastic win” for his side against a Dungannon Swifts team he rates very highly.

Furthermore, he commented on how his troops managed to score at important times in the contest to ensure they left with a positive outcome.

Unfortunately, Coleraine had to withdraw Cameron Stewart and Rowan McDonald through knocks and Higgins admitted he is sweating on the fitness of the pair.
