RUAIDHRI Higgins says the players have trained “absolutely brilliantly” as they aim to put last weekend’s defeat to Glentoran behind them…

The Bannsiders were beaten for the first time this campaign last Friday night as Jordan Stewart’s brace did the damage on the Ballycastle Road.

However, Higgins insisted there’s been no hangover since that loss and that the players have reflected on the areas that went wrong.

Carrick Rangers pose the challenge tomorrow afternoon and Higgins remarked that it’s going to be “a tough test” given the nature of their strong start to the season.

He also recapped on a sell-out crowd last Friday night and how a similar large crowd can help his side.
