RUAIDHRI Higgins praised his players for securing the main target of earning all three points against Bangor last night…

First-half efforts from Joel Cooper and Matthew Shevlin managed to get the job done as the Bannsiders preserved a clean sheet in the process.

Higgins reflected on the performance in its totality and remarked how the damage was done inside the opening half hour, which he labelled as “outstanding”.

However, he did say there were areas for improvement and he commented on the debut of Ryan Schofield between the sticks, as well as the contributions of Cameron Stewart and Cooper.
