RUAIDHRI Higgins joked that his emotions were better following his last visit to Inver Park after the Bannsiders sealed a 4-1 win against Larne…

Coleraine suffered a 3-0 defeat at the same venue at the start of the new year but there would be no repeat this time around as the Stripes produced a dominant performance.

Higgins praised his side for their application throughout the 90 minutes, labelling the display as “outstanding”.

The Coleraine chief made five changes from the Irish Cup semi-final success and Higgins remarked how he wanted to get legs and energy into the squad.

After four successive away games, Higgins was thankful to the travelling support.
